What can a few massage sessions do?

In a recent study, 50 people with mildly elevated blood pressure received a 15-minute massage, three times a week for 10 sessions. Their blood pressure fell significantly, and stayed lower for several days. In the same study, a similar group tried other methods of relaxation – but did not experience the drop in blood pressure.

Three times a week? What about once a week?

In another study, 8 women with high blood pressure received an hour-long massage once a week. Not only did this drop their blood pressure, it significantly reduced the level of inflammation in their body.

Cardiologist, Dr. Joel Kahn says the results of this study actually suggests that multiple massage sessions can give you a body-wide healing effect.

How desperately do we need body-wide healing?

Well, hours sitting at a desk can be disastrous…and lead to back problems, type 2 diabetes, heart disease, stroke, even some types of cancer.

Not to mention posture problems and even injuries.

Even if you exercise regularly and are in relatively good shape.

Wow.

Most, if not all of these problems, force you into multiple visits to the doctor and/or hospital.

Yet regular massage sessions can relieve spinal compression, pressure on the joints, promote healthy circulation, toxin removal and stress relief.

This means your organs work better, aches and pains are far less, your energy levels are way higher and your sleep is deeper.

And oh yes, massage gets rid of foggy brain. Finally, you can concentrate again!

Now don’t get me wrong. I still encourage you to see your doctor.

Yet massage can give you the kind of health results…you can’t get from any pill or potion.
