Sarah Shropshire, LMT
Founder
When Sarah started her private practice in 2004, her motto was “Grow Who You Are” – and her practice grew quickly, very strong and busy, seeing about 30 clients a week. She focused on helping clients while billing insurance for manual therapy and teaching how to apply techniques at home. Her practice grew to 15 other therapists and support staff until 2008.
She and her daughter were involved in a head on collision, as they were headed to the office, which made everything change! You see, she had a decision to make. She could either close her practice during recovery, because she couldn’t physically do all the work or she could do what she's doing now: Helping others Grow Who You Are. Her focus during her recovery was to support the therapists while they supported their clients.
In addition, for years she have been focused as a mom to help figure out why her daughter lives with constant pain since she was a young child. This is what started her in the wellness world. She was introduced to the power of essential oils, then to massage therapy, then…. join her as she applies what she has learned over the years to help you. Her daughter is grown now and she helps me out when she can.
They were finally able to get answers to her daughter's chronic pain and discovered that everything in this journey of discovery and healing fit into her pain management plan. She has been able to modify what she used to do and see clients again.
She believes certain things happen that could be deemed a travesty – but we all have a choice. She chose to learn from it, grow from it and then help others grow. She is not the person she was 20 years ago, and she's so grateful to her family in supporting her motto - “Growing Who I Am.” She looks forward to working with you.
Her name is Sarah, and here’s to growing who you are.
